This section applies to vehicles modified to meet the needs of physically challenged individuals. Modifications may include: raised roof, lowered floor, specially designed adjustable driver seat, hand controls, power lift, etc.
Note: The list applies only to vehicles certified to U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS). Canadian certified vehicles modified in the United States are not assessed for re-importation into Canada under this program. Contact Transport Canada for details.
